Yomoyo Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Yomoyo ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Yomoyo app, website, and related services ("Services").
By accessing or using Yomoyo, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Yomoyo.
By using Yomoyo, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of Yomoyo, you must create an account using a valid email address and password.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Yomoyo require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store and are subject to the App Store’s terms and policies.

Deleting your Yomoyo account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions. You must cancel subscriptions directly through your App Store account settings.

5. User-Generated Content

Yomoyo allows users to upload content, such as scanned text from physical books, vocabulary lists, or other learning materials.

By uploading content, you confirm that:

You have the necessary rights to upload and use the content
The content does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights
The content is not unlawful, offensive, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any user-generated content that we determine violates these Terms.

You retain ownership of your uploaded content but grant Yomoyo a non-exclusive license to store, display, and process the content to provide the Services.

6. AI-Generated Content

Some reading materials offered through Yomoyo are generated using the OpenAI API.

While we strive to provide high-quality educational materials, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
Use of AI content is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Yomoyo app and Services, including but not limited to text, images, logos, design, and software, are owned by or licensed to Yomoyo LLC.

Yomoyo also includes reading materials provided by third-party authors under license or permission agreements.
These materials are protected by copyright and may only be used for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes within the app.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any licensed content without prior written permission from the original author or rights holder.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, or exploit any part of Yomoyo without prior written consent, except as permitted by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yomoyo LLC disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, error-free, secure, or meet your expectations.

11. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Yomoyo LLC or its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data remains protected.

Your continued use of Yomoyo after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
